As the Maintenance Engineer in the EEI Department based in Bhuj, Gujarat, your primary role is to ensure the smooth functioning of all section assets, machinery, equipment, and utilities to minimize downtime due to breakdowns. You will be leading electronics, electrical, and instrumentation activities, ensuring maintenance work is completed as per schedule to support the department's production targets. **Key Responsibilities:** - Good knowledge in VCB (VD4), ACB, VFD, PCC, MCC, Motors operation, and maintenance. - Responsible for preventive/predictive/breakdown maintenance, fault finding, RCA, FMEA, MTBF, MTTR, etc. - Ensure availability and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs). - Conduct safety awareness sessions for employees and shift officers. - Drive improvement activities with a focus on safety. - Well-versed in ISO norms, compliance norms, and document preparation. - Familiar with various fire and safety processes. - Collaborate within the plant on load management, equipment management, and safety. - Knowledgeable in UPS and batteries operation and maintenance. - Conduct reliability study of the plant distribution system. - Interpret Key Single Line Diagram of plant electrical distribution system. - Understand protection and metering systems of the plant. - Conduct Load flow study (LF) and implement power factor improvements to ensure network adequacy. - Identify implications of major voltage drops, equipment overloading, and power losses in the plant. **Qualifications:** - Education: Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering In this role, you are expected to promptly address any complaints raised by the production department regarding machine abnormalities or breakdowns and maintain records related to external audits.
