Educational Counsellor

Job Title: UK & Ireland Educational Counsellor (Study Abroad) Experience Required: 2–6 years in UK & Ireland student admissions (mandatory) Location: India (with coordination with UK & Ireland institutions and Students ) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced UK & Ireland Educational Counsellor who can manage the complete student admission lifecycle — from initial counselling to final enrolment and visa readiness. The role requires strong counselling skills, lead conversion ability, and deep knowledge of UK & Ireland education systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Student Counselling & Profiling * Counsel students and parents for UK & Ireland higher education options * Understand academic background, budget, career goals, and visa eligibility * Recommend suitable universities, courses, and intake options Provide accurate information on: * Entry requirements * Tuition fees * Scholarships * Work rights * PSW / Graduate Route 2. Lead Management Handle leads from walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, website, and digital campaigns * Maintain lead records in CRM / Excel * Regular follow-ups to nurture and convert leads * Ensure high lead-to-enrolment conversion ratio 3. Application Processing Assist students with: * SOP / Personal Statement guidance * CV preparation * LOR requirements Submit applications to UK & Ireland universities via: * UCAS (where applicable) * Direct university portals Track offer letters and communicate updates to students 4. Offer Conversion & Closure Explain offer conditions clearly to students Convert conditional offers to unconditional offers Guide students on: * Offer acceptance * Deposit payment * CAS / Offer confirmation * Close admissions within given timelines 5. Visa Guidance (Non-filing role) Provide visa-related guidance for: * UK Student Visa * Ireland Study Visa Coordinate with visa team for documentation Prepare students for visa interviews (if applicable) 6. University & Partner Coordination Maintain relationships with UK & Ireland universities Coordinate with: * University admission teams * Country managers * Application portals Attend university webinars, training sessions, and virtual fairs 7. Compliance & Accuracy * Ensure ethical counselling practices * Follow UKVI & Irish immigration compliance norms * Avoid misrepresentation or false commitments * Maintain documentation accuracy 8.
