Educational content developer - Biology

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Biology Content Developer with a strong understanding of the CBSE syllabus. The role involves identifying topics that can be effectively taught through Virtual Reality (VR) and practical applications, developing engaging educational content, and preparing comprehensive curriculum and lesson plans to enhance the learning experience for students

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:

○ Analyze the CBSE Biology syllabus to identify key topics.

○ Segregate topics into those suitable for VR-based learning and hands-on practical activities.

○ Develop an integrated curriculum that combines traditional teaching methods with VR and practical experiences.

2. Content Creation:

○ Write clear, accurate, and engaging educational content for all Biology topics in the syllabus.

○ Develop supplementary materials such as worksheets, lab manuals, and VR guides.

○ Collaborate with technical teams to create VR content and simulations aligned with the Biology curriculum.

3. Lesson Planning:

○ Design detailed lesson plans, including objectives, teaching methodologies, and required materials for VR and practical learning.

○ Create interactive learning experiences that utilize VR technology and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and comprehension.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

○ Work closely with educators, instructional designers, and technology teams to ensure content is aligned with educational standards and effectively implemented.

○ Provide support for the integration of VR and practical tools in Biology teaching practices.

Qualifications:

● B.Sc or M.Sc in related fields (Preferred M/Sc)

● Experience in curriculum development, content writing, or instructional design within the CBSE framework.

● Proficiency in using educational technology, particularly VR tools and practical experiment kits.

● Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

● Experience in integrating technology into educational content.

● Familiarity with VR platforms and their application in Biology education.
