Job Description

Summary

We are looking for an accomplished full stack engineer with a strong background in frontend architecture for the development of educational or learning platforms. The successful candidate will have significant experience working with Edu-tech open-source tools and building LXP platforms. Responsibilities include accelerating internalisation efforts, supporting rapid prototyping, and developing a platform that is flexible, secure, and scalable, while driving continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and componentized learning apps aligned to overall learning platform strategy both for internal and external users.
  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistent brand identity and accelerate development velocity.
  • Build and optimise content delivery frameworks, including plugin-based page frameworks and integrated content players (video, PDF, ePub, code assessment).
  • Implement advanced telemetry strategy and AI first approach for data inferences and provide context sensitive actions
  • Champion accessibility, IT security best practices.
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Integrate AI-driven tools for code review and development workflow automation
  • Reimagine workflows and experiences using agents

Qualifications

  • 14+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a focus on e-commerce and ed-tech platforms.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, AI native app development and new age user experience and serverless technologies.
  • Strong background in building and maintaining design systems and headless CMS solutions.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects end-to-end
  • Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry) and experimentation platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration in development workflows
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
