About the Role

As an Editorial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting data analysis to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
  • Developing actionable insights and recommendations based on budget and spend analyses.
  • Ensuring freelancer data integrity across all reporting platforms.
  • Overseeing freelancer budget spend, producing trend analyses to anticipate unplanned costs, and collaborating with Global Managers to flag concerns and identify solutions.
  • Leading third-party agency contract reviews, including document and data collection, compliance checks, and database creation.
  • Managing CEST compliance reviews for non-RSR workers on a biannual basis.
  • Supporting workforce planning by assigning FTE equivalents for freelancers by country and individual.
  • Auditing equipment form usage and ensuring documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Identifying and prioritising freelancer onboarding efficiencies across the global team.
  • Escalating and resolving freelancer payment issues in coordination with Finance.
  • Supporting contract cleanup initiatives and freelancer country reviews (payment sources, contracts, risk).
  • Owning access management for non-AP vetting tools (Third Party Risk Management), including training coordination.
  • Liaising with corporate secretariats to validate and maintain the LE signatory list used for contract creation.
  • Assisting with Power BI reporting and on-demand advanced analytics.

About you:

  • At least 5 - 8 years of analytical and insights experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and experience in Power BI reporting.
  • Proven ability to derive insights from data and translate them into operational improvements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and experience in office administration, people management, and problem solving.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; a second global language is a plus.
  • Experience working in a large international company or media organization.
  • Ability to collaborate across languages, cultures, and geographies.
  • Flexibility and resilience under pressure.
  • Goal-oriented approach to meeting objectives and deadlines.
