Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior EDI Oracle Specialist to lead and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes and integrations within Oracle ERP systems. This role will focus on customer and supplier transactions, data transformation, and eCommerce gateway management to ensure seamless business operations across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• EDI Transaction Management:
  • ORDERS (Purchase Orders)
  • ORDCHG (Order Change)
  • DESADV (Dispatch Advice)
  • DELJIT (Delivery Just-in-Time)
  • INVOIC (Invoices)
  • Other relevant EDIFACT/X12 messages as per business needs.
• • Handle end-to-end EDI processes for key transaction sets including:
• Oracle ERP Integration:
• • Configure and maintain Oracle EDI Gateway and related modules.
  • Ensure accurate mapping between EDI standards and Oracle applications.
• Customer & Supplier Collaboration:
• • Work closely with external trading partners to onboard and maintain EDI connectivity.
  • Resolve communication and transaction issues promptly.
• Data Transformation & Validation:
• • Implement robust data transformation logic for inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with global EDI standards and partner-specific requirements.
• eCommerce Gateway Management:
• • Support integration of eCommerce platforms with Oracle ERP for automated order processing.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• • Proactively monitor EDI transactions and resolve errors to maintain SLA compliance.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• • Maintain detailed documentation for mappings, workflows, and partner specifications.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Oracle EDI Gateway, Oracle ERP (E-Business Suite or Fusion).
• Expertise in EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12) and transaction sets (ORDERS, ORDCHG, DESADV, DELJIT, INVOIC).
• Proficiency in data transformation tools, mapping, and integration frameworks.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).
• Familiarity with eCommerce integration and supplier/customer onboarding.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• • Hands-on experience with Oracle B2B Gateway, SOA Suite, and Integration Cloud (OIC).
• • Proficiency in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and mapping tools.
• • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, XML, and Java for customizations.
