Job Description

Role Overview: As a Benefits Consultant specializing in EDI, your main responsibility will be to establish rapport with clients, understand their needs, and address challenges effectively. You should be a team player with a process-driven mindset and possess the technical skills to tackle complex problems. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the process for building, testing, and deploying benefit feeds to the carrier - Assist in configuring and modifying client benefit plans to meet EDI and carrier requirements - Aid in importing employee election data using the existing template structure - Proactively guide clients through Open Enrollment events - Manage client escalations efficiently by involving appropriate resources - Assist in training colleagues and clients on processes - Collaborate with teammates to address changing client needs through effective communication and feedback sessions - Document critical client communications and interactions in SFDC and utilize Cloud Coach for project management Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience required - 2-3 years of experience in a client service position; prior relationship management, project management, or business-to-business sales experience is a plus - Previous experience in HCM, Insurance Carrier, Benefit, and/or EDI is preferred - Ability to interface with multiple departments, multitask, think on your feet, and work independently - Strong customer service and relationship-building skills are required - Proficiency in troubleshooting software configurations and uncovering root causes - Ability to solve problems through detailed questions and creative solutions - Flexibility to work in both client-facing and non-client-facing settings - Familiarity with SalesForce and SaaS model is desirable - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented, and ever-changing environment - Proficiency in MS Product Suite including Excel, Outlook, and Word,
