Role Description

Responsible for analysing import dependency, economic potential, and MSME competitiveness to inform sector prioritisation and policy interventions for import substitution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Study trade, import, and industrial data to identify high-potential sectors and products.
• Conduct macro- and micro-economic assessments related to MSME development.
• Evaluate policy frameworks impacting import substitution and local manufacturing.
• Support preparation of economic models and data-based policy recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

• Postgraduate / PhD in Economics, Applied Economics, or Development Studies.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in economic policy, trade and industrial analysis, or MSME sector economics.
