Ecommerce Specialist

As an eCommerce Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online store(s) on platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar eCommerce platforms. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the website, including product listings, inventory updates, pricing accuracy, and compelling content. Regularly updating and optimizing the product catalog will be essential to maintain accurate descriptions, images, and prices. Your focus will be on implementing strategies to drive sales and increase conversion rates, which may include A/B testing, promotions, and pricing adjustments. Monitoring and analyzing customer behavior on the site will help optimize product positioning, navigation, and overall user experience. Collaborating with the marketing team to launch sales campaigns, discounts, and seasonal promotions will be a key aspect of your role. In the realm of SEO and digital marketing, you will develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website. Working closely with the digital marketing team, you will coordinate paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) and optimize them for performance. Utilizing email marketing to engage customers, promote products, and drive repeat business will also be part of your responsibilities. Analytics and reporting will play a significant role in your work, as you will regularly track key eCommerce metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs. Analyzing website performance and implementing improvements based on data insights using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics will be crucial. Additionally, preparing and presenting performance reports to stakeholders, offering actionable insights to improve sales and site performance, will be part of your routine. Ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience across all touchpoints, including the website, checkout process, and delivery, will be vital. Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to online orders, returns, and product inquiries will be part of your role. Developing strategies to improve customer retention, such as loyalty programs, post-purchase follow-ups, and customer service enhancements, will also be on your agenda. In terms of inventory and order management, you will coordinate with the inventory and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment. Monitoring orders and returns to maintain an efficient flow and reduce delays or issues will be essential for smooth operations. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. - Experience: Proven experience as an eCommerce Specialist or in a similar digital marketing/eCommerce role. Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and tools like Google Analytics, SEO software, and email marketing platforms. Experience with digital marketing strategies, including paid search, display ads, email marketing, and social media. - Skills: Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and conversion rate optimization techniques. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable strategies. Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and project management skills. Familiarity with the latest eCommerce trends, tools, and best practices. This is a full-time position with benefits including paid time off.
