Deputy Center Director Location: Mumbai Day Care Center for children 0-6yrs (East Goregaon) Contract type: Full Time / Permanent Opportunity Salary: Up to 60,000 INR per month depending on experience To assist the Center Director to lead a high performing sustainable childcare and education business with a motivated and self-directed team, consistent with all aspects of our Mission in Motion . The Deputy Center Director is to act as the person in charge and is responsible for all aspects of the center in the absence of the Center Director. Alongside the CD and Operations Lead, they will build a vision which is shared by the whole team with the ultimate goal of achieving excellence. Key Accountabilities: Keeping Everyone Safe by continuously improving the practices, policies, processes and behaviours that underpin a safety culture Designated Safeguarding Lead for the center Set the highest standards of behaviour across their setting consistent with the HEART principles Coach the highest levels of performance from every member of their team Deliver world class customer service aligned to local customer expectations Ensure high quality care and education maintaining internal ‘green’ audits and external ‘good, excellent or outstanding’ regulatory assessments Optimise budgeted ROS Deliver (or exceed) budgeted occupancy levels Have up to date knowledge of early education and childcare quality standards and ensure compliance with these at all times, including sound pedagogical knowledge ensuring staff provide effective teaching and learning Attend client meetings as required Education and Experience: Master’s in Education/ Business Administration/HR Early Years Qualification at level 2 or above (Early Years Degree desirable) Sound/Good commercial acumen Powerful performance coach Collaborative and decisive Analytical capability Planning and strategy Uncompromising on quality Up to date knowledge of regulatory requirements Proficiency in MS Office and English Bright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
