Early Years Deputy Center Director

As the Deputy Center Director at Mumbai Day Care Center for children 0-6yrs in East Goregaon, you will be assisting the Center Director in leading a high-performing sustainable childcare and education business. Your role involves being the person in charge in the absence of the Center Director and working with the Operations Lead to build a shared vision for the team to achieve excellence while upholding the organization's mission. - Continuously improve safety practices, policies, processes, and behaviors to ensure everyone's safety - Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the center - Set high standards of behavior consistent with the HEART principles - Coach and drive high performance from team members - Provide world-class customer service aligned with local expectations - Maintain high-quality care and education standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory assessments - Optimize budgeted ROS and achieve or exceed occupancy levels - Stay updated on early education and childcare quality standards, ensuring staff deliver effective teaching and learning - Attend client meetings as necessary - Masters in Education, Business Administration, or HR - Early Years Qualification at level 2 or above (Degree in Early Years preferred) - Strong commercial acumen - Proficient in performance coaching - Collaborative and decisive decision-making skills - Analytical capabilities - Strategic planning abilities - Commitment to uncompromising quality - Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements - Proficiency in MS Office and English Bright Horizons is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments where everyone feels a sense of belonging and can contribute meaningfully.
