E Commerce Merchandiser

Functional Responsibilities

• Plan and develop merchandising strategies to effectively manage and support daily merchandising activities across Ecommerce channels.
• Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Ensure daily product attribute mapping as per defined merchandising process.
• Schedule daily photoshoot and ensure appropriate and timely product availability on website to maximize customer interest and sales levels.
• Optimize the sales volume and profitability of designated products or categories by promoting rightly.
• Monitor key operational metrics across cataloging, merchandising, pricing, order fulfillment, returns management and cost management.
• Ensure the merchandise plan support key strategic initiatives like new launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns and trends.
• Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes and clear outs etc
• Conduct competitor analysis including competitor pricing, promotion and product availability to identify opportunities for improvement in website design or merchandising choices
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure they can provide the products requested in a timely manner.
• Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities.
• Prepare and submit report on e-commerce trade performance and conducting deep dives to better understand about the shopping behaviors and trends.
• Liaise closely with designers, operations, sales ,customer service team and other stakeholders to to ensure that the shopping experience is engaging & effective and to improve overall customer experience.
• Stay abreast with industrys best practices, process improvement opportunities, etc.
