Key Responsibilities:

1. E-Commerce Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute the company's e-commerce roadmap to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify new online sales opportunities and partnerships (marketplaces, aggregators, affiliate networks).
  • Ensure alignment of online strategies with overall brand and retail objectives.

2. Website & Platform Management

  • Oversee website design, functionality, and user experience (UI/UX).
  • Manage product uploads, pricing, categorization, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure smooth integration with ERP, CRM, and inventory systems.

3. Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition

  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, influencer marketing, retargeting).
  • Manage paid media budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through personalized campaigns and loyalty programs.

4. Operations & Customer Experience

  • Oversee order management, payment gateways, and fulfilment processes.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners for timely and secure delivery of jewellery.
  • Ensure robust systems for returns, refunds, and after-sales service.
  • Maintain high standards of customer experience and data security.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as traffic, conversion, AOV (Average Order Value), CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), and retention rates.
  • Generate insights from analytics to optimize website performance and campaigns.
  • Present regular performance reports to senior management.

6. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor e-commerce, digital marketing, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with design, merchandising, IT, and retail teams for seamless execution.
  • Ensure team alignment with brand identity and customer expectations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, custom ERP).
  • Expertise in digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and performance marketing.
  • Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of jewellery product lines, certifications, and luxury retail preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in e-commerce/online sales, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in luxury retail, jewellery, or fashion industry is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of scaling online business.
