Job Purpose:

To supervise and monitor dyeing operations, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets quality standards while maintaining safety, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production Supervision

• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily dyeing operations (yarn/fabric/garment).
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Check machine settings, recipes, and chemical dosing as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with planning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Quality Control

• Monitor shade matching, color fastness, and fabric/yarn quality.
• Conduct in-process checks and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Take corrective actions in case of shade variations, uneven dyeing, or defects.
• Maintain quality reports and ensure zero rejections.

3. Resource Management

• Supervise dyeing operators and helpers, ensuring productivity and discipline.
• Optimize usage of dyes, chemicals, water, and energy.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of dyes/chemicals.

4. Compliance & Safety

• Follow EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines strictly.
• Ensure effluent and waste disposal meet statutory norms.
• Conduct safety training and enforce PPE usage among staff.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain production and quality records, including batch reports.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, rejections, and efficiency.
• Assist management in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of dyeing processes.
• Familiarity with dyeing machines ( yarn dyeing).
• Knowledge of dyes, auxiliaries, and recipes formulation.
• Leadership and team-handling skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
