Job Description

Key Skills, Knowledge & Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of OTC derivative products across asset classes, especially FX and Interest Rates.
Hands-on experience with Forwards, Swaps, Options, and understanding of risk parameters associated with these products.
Exposure to dealing or marketing of derivative products to banks, corporates, and financial institutions is desirable.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Working proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with trading platforms and understanding of trader needs in Forex and Interest Rate markets.

Job Purpose:

Assist in the development of new products and services in the OTC Derivatives market.
Support marketing efforts of derivative products to banks, financial institutions, corporates, and FPIs.
Manage day-to-day operations of the derivatives function and ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Operations

Manage operational activities related to trading platforms such as ASTROID and other derivative systems.

2. Product & Platform Enhancement

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features or enhancements in existing platforms.

Support the development and rollout of new trading platforms.

Core Competencies:

Strong understanding of derivative product features and market fundamentals.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Functional Competencies:

In-depth understanding of trading platform functionalities.
Knowledge of forex and interest rate markets.
Technical capability to collaborate with IT/product teams on system enhancements.
