Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Manager, based in Salem. The Duty Manager will oversee daily front office operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences by addressing guest concerns and resolving challenges promptly. Responsibilities include coordinating with different departments, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring the property operates smoothly and efficiently. The Duty Manager will also maintain compliance with safety and quality standards and contribute to achieving guest satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

Customer service and communication skills to engage professionally with guests and address their needs effectively
Leadership and team management abilities to oversee staff and ensure seamless operations
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to handle challenges with professionalism and poise
Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations and ensure efficiency
Prior experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
Working knowledge of hotel management systems and operational processes
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality assurance regulations in the hospitality industry
