Drupal Functional Lead

We are hiring for

Job Role:-

Exp Range:- 4yrs

Job Purpose/Summary:-

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead

  requirement gathering sessions

  and prepare

  functional specifications (FSDs)

  aligned with business goals.
• Serve as the

  functional liaison

  between stakeholders, Product Owners, UX/UI teams, and developers.
• Define and enforce

  content governance, taxonomy, workflows, permissions, and metadata management

  .
• Guide content editors, administrators, and business users on

  Drupal capabilities and best practices

  .
• Support

  UAT

  , prepare test data, and ensure successful business signoffs.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain up-to-date

  functional documentation

  .
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to define

  user journeys, wireframes, and content structures

  .
• Ensure delivery of

  high-performing, scalable Drupal solutions

  in Agile environments.
• Work closely with technical teams on

  API integrations, decoupled/Headless Drupal builds

  , and CI/CD processes.

Required / Mandatory Skills:

1. Strong

   Drupal 7/8/9/10 expertise

   , including custom modules, Blocks, Views, Panels, Layout Builder, and Twig templates.

2. Functional leadership

   with experience in requirement gathering, preparing FSDs, gap analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
3. Hands-on experience in

   content governance

   , including taxonomy, content types, workflows, permissions, and metadata management.
4. Proven ability to

   support UAT, mentor junior team members

   , and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, UX/UI teams, and developers.
5. Knowledge of

   API integration (REST/JSON), Agile delivery, CI/CD processes, and version control tools

   like Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
