ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated Drupal Engineer to join our team, helping us build robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications. The candidate will be responsible for configuring and setting Drupal websites with SearchStax Drupal Module, testing changes to SearchStax Drupal, and working with our support team to help clients with any Drupal module issues.

The candidate should be active in the development lifecycle, from initial planning and architecture through to deployment and maintenance. Their responsibilities will include writing test cases, adding to unit tests of the module if required.

Work remotely (5 x 9-hours shift),

Timings: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM (IST)

Days: Monday - Friday

YOUR ROLE

• The candidate should be responsible for the configuration of Drupal core modules
• Efficiently managing taxonomies and site features
• Test custom Drupal modules extending site functionality
• Utilizing Drupal API and hookups to integrate with third-party
• Troubleshooting and fixing other bugs related issues
• Troubleshoot client issues and provide solutions & recommendations
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards
• Participating in project planning and discussions.
• Conducting code reviews, and serving qualitative feedback according to the project.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Should acquire a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Test engineer.
• 2+ years of experience setting up, managing Drupal websites
• Should acquire good experience with Drupal 8/9, including core and contributed modules.
• Should be Experienced with version control systems, such as Git.
• Should be Experienced with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Should have Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Along with technical, and problem-solving skills, he/she should possess excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects together and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
