About the Role

Drupal Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications.
Create and customize Drupal themes, modules, and templates.
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools into Drupal websites.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and best practices.
Stay updated with the latest Drupal and web development trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong experience in
Drupal 8/9/10
development.
Proficiency in
PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
.
Experience in
custom module development, theming, and site-building
.
Familiarity with
Twig templating system
and
Composer
.
Knowledge of
Drupal APIs, hooks, and configuration management
.
Experience with
Git
or other version control systems.
Understanding of
web accessibility standards and responsive design
.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills)

Experience with
Acquia, Pantheon, or other hosting platforms
.
Knowledge of
Headless Drupal / decoupled architecture
.
Familiarity with
React, Angular, or Vue.js
for front-end integration.
Experience in
CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
.
Contribution to the
Drupal community
(modules, patches, forums).
