Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Drone Pilot to support our projects in construction monitoring, aerial mapping, and surveying. The role involves operating drones for data capture, videography, and survey-grade outputs, including DGPS-based workflows.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable flying drones in real-world field conditions, coordinating with project teams, and delivering accurate visual and spatial data for engineering, infrastructure, and surveying applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate drones for construction progress monitoring and site documentation
• Capture high-quality aerial videos and photographs for infrastructure projects
• Conduct aerial mapping and survey missions using mapping-grade drones
• Execute DGPS workflows including base and rover setup where required
• Ensure accurate data capture suitable for photogrammetry and mapping
• Follow DGCA regulations, site safety rules, and client protocols
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project managers on-site
• Maintain flight logs, checklists, and basic drone maintenance
• Travel to project locations as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• DGCA Certified Remote Pilot Certificate (Mandatory)
• Proven experience in drone videography for construction monitoring
• Hands-on experience in aerial mapping and survey operations
• Working knowledge of DGPS systems and survey workflows
• Ability to plan flight missions based on site conditions and objectives
• Basic understanding of photogrammetry and mapping outputs
• Good awareness of airspace rules, safety procedures, and risk assessment
• Physically fit for outdoor fieldwork and site conditions

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mapping software and survey data workflows
• Familiarity with infrastructure, road, mining, or industrial sites
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel extensively for project work

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, GIS, or related field (preferred)
• Candidates with strong practical field experience will also be considered

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of relevant drone flying experience preferred
• Fresh pilots with strong practical skills and DGPS exposure may also apply
