Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. Job Responsibilities:

Safely operate university buses and small/light vehicles for student and staff transportation.

Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students, faculty, and staff as per schedule.

Follow designated routes and adhere to traffic and transport regulations.

Perform daily vehicle checks (brakes, lights, coolant, oil, tire pressure, etc.) before operation.

Report any mechanical issues or vehicle malfunctions immediately to the transport in-charge.

Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and in good working condition at all times.

Assist in coordinating with the transport team for route planning and trip scheduling. Support university events or emergencies by operating different vehicles as needed.

Ensure safety and discipline of passengers during transit.

Maintain confidentiality and a professional behavior while interacting with students and staff.

Maintain a high standard of punctuality and responsibility.

Ensure compliance with RTO regulations including valid documents, uniforms etc. Perform other duties assigned by the Transport Officer or university administration.
