Draftsman (SolidWorks Only)

Position Summary

Shree Components is looking for a skilled and disciplined Draftsman with exclusive proficiency in SolidWorks to support precision-machined component development. The role involves preparing accurate 2D drawings and 3D models as per customer drawings, manufacturing feasibility, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks ONLY
• Develop manufacturing-ready drawings with dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, surface finish, and material specifications
• Modify and update drawings based on customer RFQs, engineering changes, and production feedback
• Support new product development, sampling, and trial production
• Calculate and verify net weight and gross weight of components based on part geometry, material density, and packaging details
• Assist sales and engineering teams with weight estimation and technical inputs for costing and RFQs
• Coordinate with production, quality, and stores teams to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability
• Maintain drawing revisions, document control, and traceability as per company systems
• Assist in preparation of BOMs, inspection drawings, and technical documentation
• Follow ISO / IATF quality standards and internal engineering procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks (mandatory)
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing / machining industry
• Good understanding of machining processes, materials, tolerances, and GD&T
• Ability to interpret customer technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good coordination skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with precision-machined components, fittings, fasteners, or automotive parts
• Exposure to export-oriented manufacturing and global customer standards

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
