Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with at least 2 years of experience in highway and road design. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans, and layouts as per project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings for

  highways, roads, junctions, alignments, and drainage systems

  .
• Convert conceptual designs into accurate

  CAD drawings

  as per engineering inputs.
• Develop

  plan & profile drawings, cross-sections, pavement layers, and geometric details

  .
• Update and revise drawings based on engineer feedback and design changes.
• Maintain drawing records, versions, and documentation as per project protocols.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant

  IRC, MoRTH, and local authority standards

  .
• Coordinate with design engineers, survey teams, and project managers to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in quantity estimation from drawings when required.
• Prepare

  as-built drawings

  after project completion.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsmanship (Civil) or equivalent.
• Minimum

  2 years of experience

  in drafting for

  highway and road projects

  .
• Strong proficiency in software such as

  AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, or similar tools

  .
• Understanding of road geometry, profiles, cross-sections, and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
