Draftsman Engineer- Land - Solar PV Plant (Ground Mounted)- Tamil Nadu

Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring to prepare the document packages and develop drawing sets to be reviewed by superior.
• Efficient to prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, earthing layout, cable plan layout, string details, station cabling details for PV project of different capacities.
• Ensure to prepare the drawing with efficiency and good quality according to the project timelines.
• Preparation of in-house drawings and explain prepared drawings to the customer and site execution.
• Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches for prebid and post bid engineering.
• Preparation of As-built drawings precisely.
• Quick response to the team and able to amend/modify drawings in accordance to the comments/review made by internal or external customer
• Efficient to prepare SLDs, wiring diagrams, earthing layout, cable plan layout, string details, station cabling details for PV project of different capacities.
• Calculate and collect quantities for bill of material as per drawing.
• Maintaining project engineering records for Internal /external Audit

Preferred candidate profile

• Must have experience in preparing solar PV plant Array layout for Solar power plant.
• Must have experience in preparing the Substation layout from 11kV to 220/400 kV substations.
• SLD - Single line diagram AC
• SLD- Single line diagram DC
• SLD - Auxiliary Power supply system
• SCADA Schematic architecture diagram
• Must have experience in preparing the AC/DC Cable routing layout, communication cable routing layout. SCB/Inverter grouping, cable tray layout and design
• Preparing the Shading analysis using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Google SketchUp for all the equipments in solar and substation wherever required.
• Preparing Floor Plans, Elevation & Section Drawings
• Detailed Electrical layout for light fitting, Conduit diagrams, Electrical wiring layout, Switchboard locations.
• Preparing AC/DC, control and communication cable trench, sectional view, Schedule, termination schedule
• Preparing the Design & cross-sectional layout of Roads, drainage system, GA and layout of Plant Boundary Wall/ Fencing, Main Entrance Gate, Security Room, etc.,
• Module cleaning system - Overall Layout piping layout & crossing details.
• Preparing the Civil drawing Architectural Plan, Sections & Elevations, Foundation & Column Details & Structural details for Main control room, inverter room, LA, transformer, WMS, Fencing, gate, SCB cable tray, Street light pole is added advantage.
• Has good experience in preparing the AC/DC Cable Laying, Schedule, and termination detail preparation of solar plant in AutoCAD/PVCASE/ equivalent tools.
• Must have good skillset in understanding the topography and contour study for the land development estimate the undulation level and provide the Cutting, filling, and grading quantity in AutoCAD 3d or any equivalent software.
• Knowledge of electrical components and understanding of the specification.
• Developing design documents using AutoCAD and other tools.
• Knowledge and previous experience in Fixed/seasonal/ tracker , floating, elevated MMS PV power plant designing will be an advantage.
