Job Description

The client is looking at hiring a Draftsman for their team at Al Khobar / Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Candidates who are open to relocate to Saudi Arabia should apply. The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects. Drawing and Design: - Preparing detailed panel integration drawings, shop drawings, and wiring connections. - Performing calculations for actual material requirements as per the latest approved shop drawings. - Preparing and sharing work Status Reports. Problem Solving and Communication: - Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the Line Manager for timely resolution. - Communicating with engineers and incorporating suggestions into drawings, ensuring smooth and outstanding quality panels integrations. Compliance and Standards: - Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations. - Adhering to standard company’s engineering procedures and any agreed customer variations to those procedures. General Duties: - Adhere to company policies and procedures. - Foster positive communication and relationships with team members, management, vendors, and clients. - Ensure that the work is done within the assigned deadlines. - Perform any other duties which the department or line manager may require to be carried out. Functional Requirement: - More than three (3) years in drafting roles. - Proven experience in preparing technical drawings using CAD software. - Demonstrated knowledge of drafting principles and industry standards. - Experienced in preparing and maintaining documentation.
