Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Drafting Associate - Senior in General Litigation, located in New Delhi. The selected candidate will draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, contracts, and agreements, as well as assist in research for case preparation. The role entails coordinating with clients, understanding legal issues, analyzing cases, and formulating strategies in coordination with senior attorneys. The associate will also contribute to litigation proceedings, review case laws, and ensure compliance with legal documentation standards. Role shall require only drafting and court appearance shall be only as and when required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in legal drafting, including petitions, contracts, agreements, and pleadings
• Strong research and analytical skills to effectively analyze case laws and prepare legal strategies
• Experience in adhering to compliance standards and ensuring accuracy in legal documentation
• Effective client coordination capabilities and strong written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in general litigation and an understanding of pertinent legal frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or a higher qualification such as LLM
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment and manage deadlines effectively
• A proactive attitude, quick learning ability, and teamwork skills
