Role Overview

.NET Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design for enterprise-grade .NET applications leveraging Azure services.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture blueprints.
  
• Define and enforce architectural standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines.
  
• Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using Azure PaaS, Serverless, and Integration services.
  
• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of applications hosted on Azure.
  
• Provide guidance on application modernization, migration to Azure, and integration with on-premise systems.
  
• Mentor development teams, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  
• Stay updated with Microsoft technology advancements and recommend adoption of emerging tools and practices.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Technical Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4–5 years in an architecture role.
  
• Strong expertise in

  .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / C#

  and design patterns.
• Proven experience with

  Azure Services

  : App Services, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Grid, Azure DevOps, Application Insights, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience in

  microservices architecture

  , RESTful APIs, and cloud-native design principles.
• Proficiency in

  CI/CD pipelines

  , Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform), and DevOps best practices.
• Strong understanding of

  security

  in cloud environments (identity, authentication, encryption).
• Experience in

  migration strategies

  (Lift-and-Shift, Re-architecture, Re-platforming) to Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications.
  
• Experience with

  Event-driven architectures

  ,

  Data Streaming

  (Event Hub, Kafka), and

  AI/ML integrations

  on Azure.
• Exposure to

  Agile / Scrum

  methodologies.
