Domain Project Lead / Product Owner / CoServ (Connected Services) Unit and team Overview This project is part of the Infotainment system from BMW. It focuses on maintaining and integrating cutting-edge camera-based features and applications within the newest generation of the BMW infotainment system. It involves owning a big part of the software stack for the in-car camera system, including functionalities like person and object detection, driver monitoring, and anti-theft measures. Additionally, the project encompasses providing a 360 camera view accessible via mobile phones and contributing to the SmartAccessProxy for secure vehicle access and control through a mobile app. The goal is to enhance convenience, safety, and user experience by leveraging camera technology and seamless mobile integration. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domain project lead / Product Owner to join our Connected Services team and take ownership of the stability and continued evolution of our camera-based features and mobile integration solutions. As a key player of these critical components, you will play an essential role in ensuring their seamless operation, robustness and optimal performance within our vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a reliable and innovative connected car experience for our customers. Job Description As Domain Project Lead for CoServ you are managing multiple software teams consisting of several sub-organizations. As project lead you are responsible for the BMW software-platform deliveries as well as the end-to-end functionality of the CoServ features towards a dedicated ECU project. Key Responsibilities: Good Knowledge and experience in Agile processes including Scrum Manage Backlog and priorities for the development team Risk management and mitigation planning Resource allocation and management Excellent Collaboration, Program Management and Team management skills Project monitoring and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Quality assurance and control Stakeholder communication and reporting Change management Qualifications Basic requirements and Education Business fluent English University degree in computer science or a comparable field of study (B.Eng./ B.Sc./ M.Sc./ Ph.D.). Required Experience and Skills Several years of experience in Product development with Lead experience. Project Management, Excellent Communication, Networking and Organizing Skills. Skilled in Jira, Confluence, GitHub, XRay, MS Excel, VBA & Macros tools Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders Ability to work independently, problem-solving skills, and strong teamwork abilities Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Keywords Agile Maintenance Troubleshooting Communication Prioritization
