The Domain Architect at Nokia will lead the design of innovative products and systems, focusing on telecom architecture, including 2G/3G/4G/5G core networks. The role involves defining architectural standards, preparing high- and low-level designs, and conducting technical discussions with customers and vendors.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Define architectural standards and best practices for high-quality software design.
- Prepare High-level and Low-level designs (HLD/LLD).
- Respond to RFPs and translate customer requirements into actionable proposals.
- Conduct technical discussions with customers and develop actionable plans.
- Ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in applications.
Key Skills And Experience
Must-Have:
- 9-18 years of experience in Telecom Domain software architecture.
- Expertise in 2G/3G/4G/5G core network architecture and protocols.
- Experience in C/C++, Java with focus on Multithreading, Inter Process Communication (IPC), Client-server based communication model.
- Expertise in SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, Redis).
- Experience in Linux (RHEL/Rocky Linux) and cloud-native solutions.
- Knowledge of 3GPP standards related to E-UTRAN, NG-RAN, and IMS.
Nice-To-Have:
- Experience with RestFul API design using HTTP/HTTP2.
- Familiarity with Golang, Lua, JavaScript, or Python development.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Ansible and positioning methods like CID/ECID or TDOA.
- Experience in Agile and iterative software development methodologies.
