Domain Architect - Data Science

As a Senior Data Scientist focusing on Autonomous Networks at Nokia, you will be a key player on a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing telecom services through AI and machine learning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and executive stakeholders, to design and implement cutting-edge data-driven solutions tailored for Communication Service Providers. You will engage directly with customers to understand their needs and drive the deployment of scalable AI/ML use cases that enhance network efficiency and performance.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for Autonomous Networks (AN).
• Build and manage cognitive data products for large-scale telecom AI/ML deployments.
• Research and implement advanced ML techniques to enhance existing systems.
• Collaborate with CSP customers to create scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Manage the complete data lifecycle, from ingestion to monitoring and retraining.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert for data science and ML in AN, contributing to business development and technology evaluation.
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 15+ years total experience, including 10+ years in telecom and 5+ years in AI/ML & cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of telecom network data (OSS/BSS, CDRs, performance, fault, CX data).
• Expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Vertex AI, Red Hat OpenShift AI, and Kubernetes.
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Familiarity with network automation, service assurance, and intent-based networking.
• Pre-sales experience like RFPs, solution demos, customer workshops.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and MLOps frameworks.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
