I. Document Drafting and Vetting
Drafting Legal Documents: \- Land Sale Deeds and Agreements: o Draft comprehensive and legally sound land sale deeds, agreements, and otherrelated documents, ensuring compliance with Tamil Nadu state laws andregulations. o Prepare and review various legal documents related to land transactions,including Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), Power of Attorney (PoA)documents, and encumbrance certificates. \- Vetting and Legal Compliance: o Thoroughly vet all legal documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, andadherence to legal requirements before finalizing. o Ensure that all documents reflect the correct terms, conditions, and legalclauses necessary for protecting the company\interests in real estatetransactions. Reviewing Government Documentation: \- Compliance with Government Regulations: o Review government\-issued documents, including title deeds, land registrationpapers, and survey records, to ensure they meet all legal requirements. o Verify that all government documents are correctly prepared, legallycompliant, and ready for submission to relevant authorities. II. Coordination with Legal and Regulatory Authorities Liaison with Government Officials: \- Interfacing with Authorities: o Act as the primary liaison with local government offices, including theSub\-Registrar\office, Revenue Department, and other relevant authorities, toensure smooth processing of land\-related documents. o Coordinate with government officials to resolve any discrepancies or issuesrelated to documentation, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all legalprocesses. Documentation and Submission: \- Ensuring Timely Filings: o Oversee the submission of all legal documents to the appropriate governmentoffices, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that the documents areproperly filed. o Manage the retrieval of registered documents, certified copies, and otherofficial records as needed. III. Supervision and Quality Control Overseeing Document Preparation: \- Guiding Junior Staff: o Supervise the work of Assistant Document Writer, providing guidance andensuring that all documents prepared by junior staff meet the required legalstandards. o Review and approve drafts prepared by the Assistant Document Writer, makingcorrections and suggestions as needed to ensure legal accuracy andcompleteness. Quality Assurance: \- Maintaining Document Standards: o Implement and maintain a rigorous quality control process for all legaldocumentation, ensuring that each document is error\-free and legally binding. o Conduct regular audits of documentation processes to identify areas forimprovement and ensure ongoing compliance with legal standards. IV. Documentation and Reporting Maintaining Legal Records: \- Comprehensive Documentation: o Maintain detailed records of all land sale deeds, agreements, and other legaldocuments prepared by the company, ensuring they are securely stored and easilyaccessible. o Ensure that all documents are properly indexed and cataloged in the company\legal database. Reporting to Management: \- Regular Legal Updates: o Prepare and submit regular reports to the Legal Head on the status ofdocumentation, including updates on pending land transactions, documentfilings, and any legal issues that may arise. o Provide analysis and recommendations on complex legal matters related to landtransactions, ensuring management is informed of potential risks and compliancerequirements. V. Professional Development and Legal Research Continuous Learning: \- Staying Updated with Legal Changes: o Stay informed about the latest changes in land laws, property registrationprocedures, and government regulations in Tamil Nadu. o Engage in continuous professional development by attending legal seminars,workshops, and training sessions relevant to document writing and real estatelaw. Legal Research and Analysis: \- Conducting Legal Research: o Perform in\-depth legal research to support the preparation of documents andto address specific legal queries related to land transactions. o Analyze legal precedents and new legislation that may impact the preparationand vetting of documents. MA \Public Administration. TN Govt Autherised State licens Document writer. Experience: 30 years of experience in legal document drafting, with a focus on land saledeeds and related government documentation in Tamil Nadu. \- Master\degree in PublicAdministration (MA).
\- Experience in interfacing with government authorities and managing legaldocumentation in the real estate sector. COMPETENCIES: Functional Competencies: \- Expertise in drafting and vetting land sale deeds \- Strong understanding of Tamil Nadu land laws and government regulations \- Proficiency in legal research and analysis \- Ability to supervise and ensure quality control in legal documentation Behavioural Competencies: \- Excellent communication and negotiation skills \- High attention to detail and accuracy \- Strong organizational and time management skills \- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \- Proactive approach to problem\-solving
