Dispatch Supervisor

A dispatch supervisor manages the dispatch team and ensures the efficient and safe execution of a company's dispatch and logistics. Their responsibilities include:

• Dispatch team managementSupervising the dispatch team, providing coaching and work instructions, and ensuring the dispatch routing software is used efficiently
• Data entryEnsuring dispatchers enter company and customer data into the transportation software
• Load planningWorking with load planners and outside carriers to ensure dispatchers execute load plans efficiently
• CommunicationCommunicating with customers, sales representatives, and carriers about pick up and delivery information
• Incident reportingReporting accidents and incidents to the relevant departments
• TrainingEnsuring dispatchers are properly trained and oriented to the company, job, and industry requirements
• Record keepingMaintaining records of dispatched calls, employee productivity, and vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Transportation regulationsKeeping track of transportation regulations
• Project managementPlanning and tracking project man hours to ensure customer budgets are adhered to
• Performance monitoringMonitoring dispatcher calls to ensure optimal performance and professionalism
• Driver schedulingScheduling driver work hours, downtime, and lunch breaks
• Statistical dataSummarizing statistical data such as the number of rides provided, service hours, and mileage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental Pay:
