Role Overview

The Director – Placement will be responsible for building strong corporate relationships, industry tie-ups, and placement opportunities for students across all programs. The role involves developing a strategic roadmap to enhance employability, internships, and corporate engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a placement strategy for all existing and new courses.
• Establish MoUs and industry collaborations for placements, internships, and live projects.
• Build strong relationships with top recruiters, industry leaders, and HR professionals.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, industry visits, guest lectures, and career guidance programs.
• Work closely with faculty and student coordinators to enhance career readiness.
• Oversee soft skills training, resume building, and interview preparation programs.
• Track placement statistics, alumni career progress, and employer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Represent the institution at job fairs, industry forums, and corporate networking events.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree (MBA preferred) with at least 10+ years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
• Proven track record in handling placements at a reputed university or institute.
• Strong network with HR professionals, recruiters, and industry leaders.
• Experience in engaging with companies across diverse sectors including healthcare, IT, management, law, and engineering.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to analyze job market trends and align placement efforts accordingly.
• Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide the placement team.
• Experience in implementing career counseling and skill development programs.
