The Director of HR Technology & People Analytics position will provide strategic leadership for the global people technology and analytics team and will lead the evolution of our global people systems and data strategy. Acting as a strategic partner between HR, IT, and key business stakeholders, this role will drive the alignment of HR technology and analytics with our business and people strategy, enabling data-driven decisions, scalable processes, and exceptional user experiences across the organization.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
HR Technology Leadership
In partnership with Vice President, Acquisition, Rewards and Analytics, develop and lead the strategic roadmap for HR technology (including Workday and other HR applications) and people analytics to support a global workforce.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of HR technology and analytics professionals.
- Act as a connector between HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders to align digital people strategies with organizational goals.
- Partner with IT to lead system design, implementation, and optimization of HR technologies (Core Workday HCM, ATS, Learning, Performance Management, etc.), enhancing scalability and global consistency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI driven solutions to enhance HR digital capabilities and employee experience.
- Support key business initiatives such as organizational design, M&A, and global expansion through systems and analytics.
- Drive global adoption, training, and change management for new technologies, including AI-enabled platforms.
2. People Analytics & AI Innovation
Build and scale a robust people analytics function to deliver dashboards, KPIs, predictive insights, and strategic workforce planning capabilities.
- Lead the development of predictive and prescriptive analytics to support strategic talent planning, DEI, and retention.
- Use advanced analytics and AI tools to surface insights that inform business decisions across regions and functions.
- In partnership with the IT team, build and deliver intuitive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms; promote self-service reporting across HR and leadership.
Global Process Optimization
- Partner with other P&C COE to build out and evolve global HR processes; Identify opportunities for automation and AI integration in HR processes (e.g., chatbot support, resume screening, pulse surveys, etc.).
- Maintain a balance between global standardization and local compliance
- Ensure strong data governance, security, and compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PIPEDA).

Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field; Master s preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in HR tech and analytics, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity
Preferred:
- Familiarity with AI applications in HR (e.g., talent intelligence platforms, sentiment analysis, AI-driven engagement tools).
- Project management or change management certification (e.g., PMP, Prosci).
Travel: Less than twice per month
