Director, PDS Projects

The Director - Projects leads and manages large-scale commercial real estate projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client specifications. This senior-level position requires strategic oversight of complex projects while managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.

• Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously, ranging from $10M+ in value
• Develop comprehensive project strategies, timelines, and budgets
• Oversee all phases of project delivery from planning through occupancy
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards

• Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, contractors, and vendors
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders
• Manage client expectations and resolve conflicts as they arise

• Lead project teams including project managers, coordinators, and support staff
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development
• Coordinate with internal JLL teams
• Manage external consultants, contractors, and design professionals

• Develop and monitor project budgets and financial forecasts
• Review and approve project expenditures and change orders
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 20+ years of commercial real estate project management experience
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale projects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and building systems
• Understanding of commercial real estate markets and trends
• Experience with LEED and other sustainability certifications preferred
