Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal solutions and advice to internal stakeholders and clients at PwC, ensuring compliance with regulations and minimizing legal risks. Your expertise in corporate law will be crucial as you offer legal advice and support on various corporate matters such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. Leveraging your experience in corporate law, you will navigate complex legal frameworks effectively. In your role, you will translate the company's vision, setting the tone and inspiring others to follow. Your responsibilities will include driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. As a guardian of PwC's reputation, you will uphold values of quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset. Creating a conducive working environment and maximizing client satisfaction will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will nurture talent, collaborate across the PwC Network, and leverage collective strength. Key Responsibilities: - Lead in line with PwC's values and brand. - Develop innovative ideas, solutions, and structures, driving thought leadership. - Solve problems creatively by exploring multiple angles and encouraging a similar approach in others. - Balance long-term and short-term goals, detail-oriented tasks, and big picture thinking. - Make strategic decisions and foster change by addressing system-level enablers. - Promote technological advancements to create an environment where people and technology thrive together. - Identify market gaps and convert opportunities into success for the firm. - Adhere to and enforce professional and technical standards, the firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements. - Lead the review and finalization of client service agreements with a focus on Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence. - Interact with internal clients, technology/assets team, product developers, firm leadership, external vendors, clients, and legal teams. - Demonstrate expertise in intellectual property (IP) and its commercialization, along with a thorough understanding of technology contract lifecycle. - Provide IP, legal, and commercial guidance to product developers and negotiate technology agreements. - Possess experience in technology transactions and liaise with multiple stakeholders to drive consensus. - Deliver communication effectively, both written and verbal. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 12 years relevant to advising on legal agreements, data, and technology contracts. - Strong expertise in Service Level Agreements and understanding of US state laws and local regulations. - Bachelor's Degree required (US State bar or US LLM preferred). - Shift Time: Overlap with US time, 2 PM-11 PM & flexible.,
