Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Fundraising with a proven track record of raising capital from HNIs, family offices, network investors, strategic investors, and asset-backed funding channels for pre-revenue businesses, startups, and structured investment opportunities.

This is a results-driven role. Candidates with demonstrable capital-raise success may negotiate compensation, mandates, and performance-linked terms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute fundraising strategy for:
  • Pre-revenue startups
  • Growth-stage businesses
  • Asset-backed funding (real estate, NPA, structured deals, SPVs, collateral-backed raises)
  • Build, manage, and activate HNI, family office, and investor networks
  • Structure funding instruments:
  • Equity
  • Convertible instruments
  • Debt / Structured notes
  • Asset-backed investment models
  • Pitch to investors with clear risk, compliance, and return frameworks
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, compliance, and management teams
  • Negotiate term sheets, mandates, and investor agreements
  • Ensure regulatory, compliance, and disclosure discipline
  • Close funding rounds within defined timelines
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on fundraising experience
  • Proven success in raising funds from HNIs and network investors
  • Experience with pre-revenue or early-stage fundraising
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Investor psychology
  • Risk structuring
  • Deal documentation
  • Asset-backed funding models
  • Existing active investor network (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under performance-linked structures

Preferred Experience

  • Family office fundraising
  • Startup ecosystem exposure
  • Private equity / alternative investment exposure
  • NPA / distressed asset funding
  • SPV and structured deal fundraising
  • Legal & compliance coordination experience

Compensation & Terms

  • Highly negotiable for result-oriented professionals
  • Options include:
  • Fixed + performance-based incentives
  • Success fee / carry-based structure
  • Mandate-based engagement
  • If results are guaranteed, commercial terms are open for negotiation
