Director of Business Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage India operations as Head of Office.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention for engineering and operations teams.
• Build scalable systems, infrastructure, and automation workflows.
• Drive productivity, quality, and compliance across functions.
• Partner with US leadership to execute strategic initiatives and ensure operational alignment.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets, and KPI tracking.
• Represent InRhythm with clients and external partners.
  

Requirements

• 1214 years of total experience, including 7+ years in building India teams for US-based tech consulting firms or early-stage GCCs (2040 people).
• Proven background in business operations, HR, finance, or marketing (non-technical).
• Experience in IT consulting or boutique Indian IT services (30200 people).
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Demonstrated success in setting up scalable operations and automation systems.
• Deep understanding of the Indian tech talent market.
• Must have worked closely with US stakeholders.
• B1/B2 visa preferred.
  

Exclusions

• No candidates from IT staffing or large IT services backgrounds.
• GCC experience acceptable only if tech-focused and joined early-stage.

Reporting

• Reports to Managing Director Finance & Business Operations.
• Oversees 57 operations staff (dotted-line) and 12 direct finance/ops reportees.
