Job Description

The Front Line Marketing Lead plays a crucial role in providing marketing thought leadership and driving the marketing agenda for territories under SLMG, Moon, DBPL, BBPL, and Superior Group. This position is responsible for generating and increasing consumer demand in these markets by collaborating with INSWA central marketing teams. The FLM Lead has a broad stakeholder remit and must closely collaborate with franchise operations, C&CL, key bottling leaders, and associates. Additionally, the FLM Lead provides people leadership to a team of 4 region FLMs and is responsible for their growth and development. In terms of Focus, Scope, and Impact, the Front-Line Marketing Leadership aspect involves driving the marketing agenda for states such as UP, Bihar, West Bengal, North East Region, as well as FBO parts of MP, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. This includes gaining consumer insights through data analysis, market visits, direct interaction with consumers, and stakeholder engagement. The FLM Lead also works in partnership with brand teams to develop and execute marketing plans aimed at achieving brand and business goals in the markets. Furthermore, managing portfolio conflicts, driving aligned prioritization, and maximizing the impact of marketing inputs are critical responsibilities of this role. The FLM Lead also focuses on driving bottler alignment on the marketing agenda, overseeing localization and real-time amplification of IMX campaigns within the region, managing brand activation at the local level, and maintaining regular interaction with the field. Additionally, in terms of People Leadership, the FLM Lead leads a team of 4 region FLMs, providing guidance, support, and investing in their performance and potential. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 14-15 years of overall work experience, significant marketing and people leadership experience, direct experience with marketing activation, business and commercial acumen, and experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams. The ability to provide nuanced region-level input on marketing strategy, develop relationships with key stakeholders, coordinate local activations with bottlers, identify needs for campaign localization, and lead empowered teams is crucial. Communication skills are essential for this role, as the FLM Lead will frequently interact with various teams including OU Frontline Marketing Lead, Head of Marketing, OU Category teams, OU IMX team, OU Franchise leadership teams, OU C&CL team, bottlers, and external parties. Key skills required for this role include Leadership, Business Planning, Microsoft Office, Marketing Communications (MarCom), Brand Strategy, Long Term Planning, Demand Generation, Brand Storytelling, Competitor Analysis, Cross-Functional Integration, Marketing Strategies, Product Planning, and Marketing Mix. The Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage for this role is set at 30%, indicating a market-based competitive value for performance at target.,
