Position Purpose In alignment with CIB ITO and ITG, the Head of ISPL CIB IT Enterprise Architecture is responsible for helping define and promote IS strategy and ensuring its operational implementation regarding
adoption of new technologies, services & methodologies ,
information systems, steering IS projects, innovation affecting their line or work either directly or through cross-entity projects, leading their team, guarantying human resource management in conjunction with the Human Resources Department, and guaranteeing the proper management of IT risks & cyber security related to their line of work. The scope of this role is CIB/CIB IT globally.
Responsibilities
The Head of ISPL CIB IT Architecture responsibilities include:

Define the policy and objectives of their scope based on the entitys strategic priorities
- Adapt the entitys general strategy concerning information systems in accordance with the Group-level IT Governance procedures and the Groups conduct and compliance principles
- Participate in compiling the needs expressed by the Business to prepare the entitys strategic plan and the related request portfolio
- Participate in the operational implementation of the entitys objectives in its scope
- Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends, assessing their potential to deliver competitive advantage.

Lead their team, organize and guarantee that work within their scope of responsibility is properly completed
- Contextualize and relay information from Executive Management to the team
- Lead the team and guarantee local management for the team members and assist them in their entitys transformation
- Present, explain and adapt the objectives set for their scope
- Set objectives, define operating methods and organize work for teams in line with the resources allocated
- Coordinate and monitor all activities under their responsibility
- Promote teamwork, co-construction and cross-functionality
- Guarantee that methods are applied in their scope

Guarantee human resource management, in conjunction with the Human Resources Department
- Give regular performance feedback to their employees and evaluate them annually
- Develop their employees skills to guarantee employability
- Determine their teams training needs
- Give management the information needed for the staffs career management (promotions, pay and/or allocation of variable compensation)
- Participate in their teams succession plan
- Participate in their teams recruitment process
- Participate in the management of disciplinary issues

Manage resources made available to them in accordance with schedules, budgets and quality standards
- Help define their budget and monitor costs incurred
- Participate in the companys savings plan
- Make and report on decisions
- Build action plans and monitor their implementation
- Participate in the definition, implementation and analysis of monitoring, performance and service quality indicators
- Report alerts depending on the governance established within the scope when the activity has an operational risk and propose necessary corrective action plans
- Take part in process improvement initiatives
- Manage available human resources to achieve the expected results in terms of quality, costs and deadlines
- Together with Procurement, ensure a contractual relationship within the framework of Procurement procedures and approved service providers

Assess and manage the IT & Cyber security risks within their scope of responsibility
- Be aware of IT & Cyber security risks and the fundamental concepts to process them, while taking into account day-to-day and future activities
- Apply and promote the Groups IT governance rules, including those related to IT & Cyber security risks, within their activities, teams and relationships with third parties
- Communicate any organizational, scope or operational change impacting the risk profile of their activities, and report developing IT & Cyber security risks to their immediate supervisor
- Depending on their level of delegation, implement the necessary corrective actions
CIB IT Architecture Responsibilities
Administration & Surveillance :
requiring strong common processes & frameworks to funnel, record and analyse IS information at enterprise level - Current : Application Portfolio Management, Technology & Service Catalogue, Application Cartography
- Forward : through ITVC Process within Project Portfolio Management, Technology Roadmap, Technical Due Diligence Framework
- Exploration : Innovation Process Management, IT Market Watch
Drive & Recommend IS Strategic Orientation at CIB level :
requiring a combined strong functional expertise from the Enterprise and Mtier Architecture teams
Manage CIB IT Technologies & Services Standards Catalogue :
requiring strong technical expertise & close articulation with Technology Group both within and outside the enterprise
Provide Exploration Management :
on key emerging Technologies to ensure market-relevant value extraction for the businesses and define where this would land within our IT organisation when shifting to Industrialisation Technical & Behavioral Competencies - Technical
