Director - Head of ISPL CIB IT Architecture

Role Overview: As the Director - Head of ISPL CIB IT Architecture at BNP Paribas, your primary responsibility is to proactively define, maintain, and evolve the organization's technology architecture strategy. You will lead a team of architects to design scalable, secure, stable, and cost-effective enterprise solutions across applications, data, and infrastructure layers. Your role will require technical expertise, strategic vision, and strong leadership to guide technology decisions that enable innovation at scale and long-term business value. Key Responsibilities: - Define the policy and objectives of your scope based on the entity's strategic priorities. - Evaluate emerging technologies and market trends to deliver competitive advantage. - Lead and organize your team to ensure work is completed efficiently. - Present, explain, and adapt objectives set for your scope. - Coordinate and monitor all activities under your responsibility. - Promote teamwork, co-construction, and cross-functionality. - Guarantee that methods are applied within your scope. - Develop your employees" skills to ensure employability. - Participate in the management of disciplinary issues. - Manage available human resources to achieve expected results in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines. - Assess and manage IT & Cyber security risks within your scope of responsibility. - Apply and promote the Group's IT governance rules, including those related to IT & Cyber security risks. - Communicate any organizational, scope, or operational changes impacting risk profiles to your immediate supervisor. Qualifications Required: - Proven track record designing and delivering large-scale, complex enterprise systems. - Expertise in architecture domain (Applications, data, infra, and security). - Strong knowledge of cloud architectures. - Experience with API, Microservices, etc. - Understanding of Data architecture (Data lakes, data governance).
