Job Purpose
The Director Global Quality will lead the Quality Center of Excellence at GSK s Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore, India, which provides end-to-end support on multiple global quality processes across GSK s global supply chain organization.
This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality support across multiple global Quality teams while fostering a culture of compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As the senior leader within the Quality function, the Quality Head, GCC will manage a team of Quality professionals and partner closely with global stakeholders to deliver on GSK s quality objectives.
This role will be involved in setting up of the Center of Excellence, defining the strategic direction of the function and setting it up for scale and success
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Team Management:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of Quality professionals in the GCC.

Recruit, develop, and retain talent, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce.

Create a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Ensure alignment of team goals with wider organizational objectives, including the Global Quality Plan, and strategies.

Partner with Leaders across the Global Quality Function to ensure seamless integration of Functional and GCC Manager responsibilities.
Operational Excellence:

Oversee the delivery of high-quality services by the Quality team based in the GCC, ensuring compliance with GSK s global quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Establish systems and processes to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team to measure effectiveness, efficiency, and consistent delivery of support across global Quality teams.

Drive process improvements and standardization to enhance operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with Global Quality leaders, matrix managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the GCC delivers impactful support.

Act as the primary leadership point of contact for quality-related activities within the GCC.

Represent the quality function based in the GCC in global forums and decision-making discussions.
Compliance Risk Management:

Ensure that all Quality processes and activities in the GCC are compliant with GSK s policies, procedures, and global regulatory requirements.

Set up processes to identify and mitigate risks related to quality and compliance within the GCC s scope of work.

Lead and/or host audits, inspections, and assessments related to quality operations, and drive timely resolution of any findings.
Strategic Contribution:

Actively contribute to the development and implementation of GSK s global quality strategy, ensuring alignment with GCC capabilities and opportunities.

Actively participate in shaping the future direction of the GCC in collaboration with other functional leaders.

Lead and champion the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes to drive innovation and efficiency within the quality function
