Director, Global Data Operations

As the Head of Data Operations at Monotype, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the value of data throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing local managerial support to the Global Data team located in Noida by offering direction, mentorship, coaching, and development to drive high performance. - Directing and coordinating the data governance process by collaborating closely with Data Domain Leaders to drive best practices and compliance. - Driving the maintenance and tracking of team OKRs, project outcomes, data product usage, and staff capacity across all domains. - Providing central oversight of all Global Data-owned data infrastructure systems and contracts, aligning cross-domain buildout with Domain Leaders. - Collaborating with the Global Data Management team to drive strategy. - Regularly engaging with Stakeholders to help the team maintain a robust prioritization roadmap. - Owning the data visualization strategy, assessing tools, and identifying best practices. - Owning and tracking dashboards and reports across the company, ensuring compliance with central data sources, and appropriate development and decommissioning of Global Data and business department analytics. - Driving acquisition integrations across Domains. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors/Masters degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. - 12+ years of relevant business-focused data operations management, including data analysis and 3rd party-system integration and maintenance. - Minimum 5 years in a leadership position. - Expertise in generating and communicating clear and insightful analytics, reporting, and data visualization. - Proven experience (5+ years) leading and mentoring team members, identifying expertise gaps, and monitoring performance. - Strong understanding of data governance issues, policies, contractual and regulatory requirements, roles, and responsibilities. - Solid knowledge of data storage and engineering principles. - Experience with CRM and Master Data Management Systems. - Systems program management expertise is highly desirable. - Demonstrated analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to work backwards from the customer's needs in a highly cross-functional environment. - Empathetic communicator and cross-functional collaborator with a solution-oriented mindset, possessing strong presentation, business, and technical writing skills. - Self-motivated, independent, and able to dynamically determine priorities and lead change management across an organization.
