Our food content vertical is one of the fastest growing in the space, and we are now looking for a passionate and experienced Director to lead our food shoots end-to-end.

Role Overview:

Director for Food Shoots

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the entire lifecycle of food shoot productions – including concept development, scripting, direction, shoot execution, and post-production supervision.
• Collaborate with creative, culinary, and production teams to conceptualize unique, engaging, and brand-relevant food content.
• Direct recipe videos, food styling shoots, chef-led content, and branded culinary campaigns.
• Coordinate with internal departments (camera, lighting, art, styling) and external vendors (freelancers, agencies) to manage resources and schedules.
• Ensure creative consistency, high production quality, and timely delivery across all video content.
• Innovate with shooting techniques, set designs, and formats to keep content fresh and platform-optimized.
• Review edits, provide direction for color grading, music, VFX (if any), and final delivery.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and shoot logistics for efficient production.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience directing food-related video content (digital/TV/commercials).
• Strong portfolio showcasing food videos with high visual and storytelling quality.
• Deep understanding of food styling, lighting techniques for food, and digital content trends.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of camera, lighting, and editing workflows.
• Experience managing multi-camera setups, studio and location shoots.
• Familiarity with content optimization for YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in film/media studies or related creative fields.
• Experience working with food influencers, chefs, or FMCG brands is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, content-rich environment.
