Job Description

Role Overview: As the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at your company, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the financial close process by analyzing variances, providing business-driven commentary, and reviewing key business drivers - Driving the development of annual plans and forecasts, ensuring accurate data upload into the Hyperion budgeting tool - Creating standardized financial reporting packages, identifying revenue risks and opportunities, and responding to ad-hoc requests for information - Providing relevant financial analytics and business insights, developing tracking mechanisms, and formulating mitigating strategies - Executing financial process improvements, building financial tools for analysis, and suggesting enhancements to financial systems - Investigating automation opportunities and more efficient methods, anticipating the needs of internal customers and stakeholders - Guiding and mentoring the team Key Responsibilities: - Lead the financial close process by analyzing variances, providing business-driven commentary, and reviewing key business drivers - Drive the development of annual plans and forecasts, ensuring accurate data upload into the Hyperion budgeting tool - Create standardized financial reporting packages, identify revenue risks and opportunities, and respond to ad-hoc requests for information - Provide relevant financial analytics and business insights, develop tracking mechanisms, and formulate mitigating strategies - Execute financial process improvements, build financial tools for analysis, and suggest enhancements to financial systems - Investigate automation opportunities and more efficient methods, anticipating the needs of internal customers and stakeholders - Guide and mentor the team Qualifications Required: - Educational qualification: Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance with Engineering degree or coding experience, or Post-graduation in Finance - Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge in financial planning and management - Leadership experience with executive and senior management levels, cross-functional teams, and initiatives - Strong analytical skills, ability to work with complex issues, and proven team leadership - Project management experience, ability to lead initiatives, and perform successfully in a fast-paced environment - Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, VBA, Access, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of enterprise financial systems (Oracle/Hyperion, SAP) and tools like Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau,
