Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Application Development to join our dynamic and innovative team at PTS Consulting Services. As the Director of Application Development, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of software developers, manage application development projects, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Responsibilities include leading and managing a team of software developers, overseeing the entire application development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, driving the adoption of software development best practices, managing project timelines and resources, conducting code reviews, staying up-to-date with industry best practices, and collaborating with other department heads to identify strategic application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) and proven experience as a Director of Application Development. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and knowledge of emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and IoT are highly desirable.
