Diligence Associate

As a Financial Due Diligence Senior Associate at KPMG in India, you will play a key role in a variety of challenging transactions, ranging from acquisitions and mergers to flotation's and buy-outs. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed financial analysis on provided data, identifying issues, and drawing conclusions. You will undertake both smaller assignments independently and larger projects under the guidance of a manager or partner. In this role, you will be expected to assess the accuracy and reasonableness of data, communicate effectively with clients and third parties, and contribute to the preparation and review of sections of Transaction & Restructuring reports. Additionally, you will manage and mentor junior staff, build credibility with clients as a representative of KPMG Transaction Services, and maintain key business contacts for future opportunities. Your role will also involve supporting proposals and business development activities, contributing to team morale and efficiency, and drafting engagement letters while demonstrating technical and risk management awareness. It is essential to have 3-5 years of experience in Transaction Services or a related field, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and the capability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. To succeed in this position, you must possess strong soft skills such as interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Moreover, you should be willing to travel within India or abroad for extended periods as required.
