Job Description

About the Role:

Digital Risk Officer

Digital Risk Management:

Develop and lead the digital risk management strategy aligned with enterprise risk frameworks.
Identify, assess, monitor, and report on digital risks across all business functions and IT environments.
Develop risk models, matrices, and scoring mechanisms for digital risk exposure.

Risk Assessments & Controls:

Conduct regular assessments of technology platforms, systems, and digital processes to identify vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to implement and improve risk mitigation controls.
Assess third-party digital vendors and partners for risk and compliance.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Define digital risk KPIs and KRIs, and report regularly to executive leadership and risk committees.
Maintain an up-to-date risk register and track remediation actions.
Provide insights on emerging risks related to cloud, AI/ML, remote work, and digital transformation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Cybersecurity) is a plus.
Relevant certifications such as
CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
.
Experience with AI/ML governance or digital ethics frameworks is an advantage.
Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance, government).
