Duration:0-12 month(s) Description/Comment:Title: Digital Ops Support Analyst Manager Level: Non-Manager Job Purpose: Client is investing in our digital future, and we￢ﾀﾙre looking for a Data Analyst within the Cat Digital Helios team to help maximize the value of Client￢ﾀﾙs digital platform. Cat Digital is focused on accelerating services and parts growth by providing digital solutions through data analytics, innovation and customer-focused solutions. This role is a technical resource to support data pipeline and data flows in and around Helios warehouse. JOB DUTIES: ￢ﾀﾢ Understand the existing data flows / pipelines with Helios warehouse ￢ﾀﾢ Absorb the domain knowledge behind the datasets in Helios warehouse ￢ﾀﾢ Triage data gaps / bugs in production with required details towards fix ￢ﾀﾢ Replay the data pipeline / upload missing data to fix the data gap identified ￢ﾀﾢ Apply the code fix needed to ensure data integrity within Helios warehouse ￢ﾀﾢ Validate the data post the fix, to ensure that it is now as expected ￢ﾀﾢ Work with other departments to identify the right team to apply the fix ￢ﾀﾢ Work with other departments to absorb knowledge about new pipelines / flow ￢ﾀﾢ Follow established business rules for the use of an application or process. ￢ﾀﾢ Represent the application or process with other areas of the business who use or integrate with this part of the business. ￢ﾀﾢ Seek input from relevant areas of the business that should have inputs to this application or process. ￢ﾀﾢ Understanding, evaluating and reacting to routine problems or situations with external contacts is also part of this assignment. ￢ﾀﾢ Interaction is within the framework of existing business policies and practices and/or established business relationships. ￢ﾀﾢ Problems and issues usually involve careful interpretation, analysis or diagnosis. ￢ﾀﾢ Identify the nature of a complex or undefined problem and then develop the best solution or application from numerous alternatives. Basic Qualifications: ￢ﾀﾢ Requires a college or university degree, technical certification or equivalent experience. ￢ﾀﾢ 3 or more years of experience working in data pipeline related technologies or data validations ￢ﾀﾢ Interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional or potentially controversial situations. ￢ﾀﾢ This position should be familiar with data management of an application overall Technical Qualifications: ￢ﾀﾢ Core Skills on programming languages (SQL; Python) ￢ﾀﾢ Fundamental practical knowledge on AWS services, like s3; Sagemaker; RDS; Kinesis; DynamoDB; Lamda ￢ﾀﾢ Fundamental practical knowledge on Snowflake and its properties ￢ﾀﾢ Ability to understand and analyse end-to-end data flow and pipeline ￢ﾀﾢ Familiar with database concepts
