Location: New Delhi, On-Site Experience: 5–7 years Type: Full-time | Digital-Only Role About Outlook Traveller Outlook Traveller is India’s premier travel magazine and digital platform, known for its award-winning storytelling, vivid photography, and compelling destination coverage. With a growing online audience and a refreshed digital roadmap, we are looking for an experienced Digital Editor to lead our web content strategy and execution. The Role This is a strictly digital role. As the Digital Editor, you will be responsible for shaping and managing all travel content across our website and associated digital platforms. You will lead the editorial calendar, oversee story ideation and execution, drive SEO performance, and ensure our digital voice is sharp, timely, and engaging. Key Responsibilities ● Lead and implement a dynamic digital content strategy aligned with brand goals and online audience interests. ● Commission, write, and edit original web stories including guides, listicles, itineraries, interviews, and trend pieces. ● Maintain and optimise the daily content calendar for the website, ensuring fresh, relevant, and high-performing content. ● Manage a team of in-house and freelance writers, editors, and content creators. ● Ensure all content meets SEO best practices using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc. ● Track story performance via Google Analytics and other tools to inform editorial decisions and optimise user engagement. ● Work closely with the social media team to increase content reach and visibility. ● Support branded content and sponsored campaigns in coordination with the marketing and ad sales teams. You Bring ● 5–7 years of editorial experience in digital media, preferably in the travel, lifestyle, or culture space. ● Excellent editing, writing, and headline-crafting skills with a strong news and trends sense. ● Hands-on experience managing content on CMS platforms. ● Strong command of SEO, content strategy, and web analytics. ● Experience managing content teams and working across departments. ● Ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple stories, and adapt quickly to changing priorities. ● Passion for travel and curiosity about people, places, and stories that make destinations come alive.
